With so many questions surrounding the Patriots' offense, the AFC East is kind of for grabs this year. Not many expect the Bills to be the team to grab it, and something happened this morning that sounds like a bad omen for the season ahead.
Quarterback Kevin Kolb tripped over a wet mat while jogging onto the practice field and injured his left knee. He took his pads off and went into the locker room before the practice began. Head coach Doug Marrone later said that Kolb just "tweaked" his knee, and he is considered day-to-day. Rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel
will get more reps in his place.
Fantasy Analysis:
Facepalm. It's nice to hear that Kolb wasn't seriously hurt, because if he was, he'd be giving Bill Gramatica a run for his money for the clumsiest way to suffer a knee injury. Kolb is not a recommended fantasy selection, but you knew that already.
