NFL teams have one week to trim their roster down to 75 players, so expect this kind of post to become a regular occurrence for the rest of this month.
Some of the notable offensive skill players cut on Monday were Saints wide receivers Steve Breaston and Patrick Crayton, and the Saints also got rid of quarterback Seneca Wallace. The Jaguars released wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi, and the Lions did the same with wide receiver Mike Thomas. The Bills released kicker Rian Lindell, who had spent his entire 13-year career in Buffalo.
Fantasy Analysis:
Fantasy relevance? No, there's not much at all. I find the Breaston move a little surprising, but it states how impressive rookie wideout Kenny Stills has been in camp. Currently listed as the Saints' No. 3 WR, Stills should be on your radar as a deep sleeper.
