We learned about Ryan Williams ' latest knee injury yesterday. The news on that front doesn't seem to be getting better as Williams was seen on crutches today after receiving more treatment on that knee. But now Rashard Mendenhall
is also missing practice time because of knee tendinitis. The good news is that head coach Bruce Arians said Mendenhall is expected to practice as soon as Monday.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Cardinals are hoping Mendenhall can play in their first preseason game next week. Williams is questionable at the very least. Rookies Stepfan Taylor and Andre Ellington will see more practice reps as a result. This is just not a great situation to own right now. Mendenhall is the starter if healthy, but he hasn't been the picture of health recently. He tore an ACL 19 months ago and limped through an injury-riddled 2012 season. Mendenhall is a flex option in Arians' pass-first offense.
