The 49ers and Seahawks have been waging their own little arms race since the end of last season. So, if the 49ers sign a 27-year-old slot receiver, you know the Seahawks have to counter with their own signing of a 27-year-old slot receiver. And they have done so with the signing of former Cardinal Early Doucet.
Doucet will be playing on a one-year deal. He spent his first five seasons in Arizona, the best of which came in 2011 when he caught 54 passes for 689 yards and five touchdowns. He didn't top 30 catches or 300 yards in any of his four other seasons.

Fantasy Analysis:

Doucet provides the Seahawks with some depth following the injury to Percy Harvin. Although I don't like him or Austin Collie much, I think Collie has the higher fantasy ceiling if he stays healthy. He could be the Niners' No. 2 WR, but Doucet may be no more than the Seahawks' No. 4 WR, behind Golden Tate @ShowtimeTate, Sidney Rice @sidneyrice, and fellow slot receiver Doug Baldwin @DougBaldwinJr.
