GIANTS-RAYS
Bullpen keys Rays' win over Giants
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Wil Myers homered and four relievers allowed one hit over 4 1-3 scoreless innings to help the Tampa Bay Rays beat the San Francisco Giants 4-3 on Sunday.
Alex Torres (4-0) started the bullpen parade by replacing Roberto Hernandez with two outs in the fifth and struck out two over 1 1-3 innings. Jake McGee worked a perfect seventh and Joel Peralta left Hunter Pence stranded at second after a two-out double in the eighth before Fernando Rodney pitched the ninth for his 27th save.
Tampa Bay took a 4-3 lead in the sixth on Fuld's hit against Jose Mijares (0-3) to help the Rays win for the 25th in 31 games.
Myers homered for the Rays, who took 2 of 3 from the defending World Series champion Giants and improved to 11-0-2 in their last 13 series.
INDIANS-MARLINS
Kazmir, Indians beat Marlins 2-0
MIAMI (AP) - Scott Kazmir and three relievers combined on a four-hitter Sunday, and the Cleveland Indians won for the 10th time in their past 11 games, beating the Miami Marlins 2-0.
The shutout was the 15th for the Indians, most in the American League. They took 2 of 3 games in the series despite scoring a total of only six runs.
The Indians, who are chasing AL Central leader Detroit, begin a 4-game series at home Monday against the Tigers.
Lonnie Chisenhall and Michael Brantley drove in the Indians' runs, and that was enough for Kazmir (7-4). Making his 200th career appearance, the left-hander won his fourth decision in a row by limiting the Marlins to two hits in six shutout innings.
MARLINS '03 REUNION
Marlins celebrate anniversary of 2003 title
MIAMI (AP) - Former manager Jack McKeon is back in Miami for a weekend reunion of the Marlins' 2003 World Series championship team, joking that he's ready to mount another comeback after undergoing double-bypass heart surgery two months ago.
Thirteen of McKeon's players were introduced before Sunday's game as they celebrated the 10th anniversary of their improbable run to the title. Among those present were Juan Pierre - still active with the Marlins - and first-year Marlins manager Mike Redmond.
McKeon was 72 when he came out of retirement in May 2003 and led the Marlins' run to the World Series title. In the postseason they beat the Giants, Cubs and Yankees.
HALL OF FAME GAME
Rookie's INT for TD lifts Dallas, 24-20
CANTON, Ohio (AP) - Rookie Devonte Holloman's 75-yard interception return with a tipped pass keyed the Dallas Cowboys' 24-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins in the Hall of Fame game Sunday night that opened the NFL's preseason.
The sixth-round pick from South Carolina was perfectly situated when rookie Chad Bumphis had Matt Moore's pass go off his hands in the second quarter. It was the biggest play for a Dallas defense switching to a 4-3 alignment under new coordinator Monte Kiffin.
But the Cowboys controlled most of the game one night after their former offensive lineman, Larry Allen, and former coach, Bill Parcells, were inducted into the hall.
Quarterback Tony Romo, coming off back surgery to remove a cyst, sat out for Dallas. So the Cowboys turned to their ground game - and ground down Miami as few regulars got onto the field.
CHARTRIC DARBY ARRESTED
Ex-Buccaneers nose tackle Chartric Darby arrested
LAND O'LAKES, Fla. (AP) - Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers nose tackle Chartric Darby has been arrested and charged with domestic battery.
The Pasco County Sheriff's office says an officer responded to a call about an argument at Darby's home in Land O'Lakes. Darby's wife told police they started arguing when she wanted to leave to take care of some things and Darby pushed her in the chest.
Darby told police he had been arguing but it was not physical. The officer did not see any marks or redness on Darby's wife, but he was arrested based on her statement.
They have been married 11 years and have three children together.
Darby was the starting nose tackle for Tampa Bay's Super Bowl win in 2002. He also played for Seattle and Detroit.

Niebrugge, the 6-foot-4 Oklahoma State player from Mequon, Wis., is trying to win his third straight event after following his Public Links win with a victory in the Wisconsin State Amateur.
Dale is a recent North Florida graduate.
In the morning semifinals, Niebrugge beat Arkansas' Sebastian Cappelen 1 up, and Dale topped Texas' Kramer Hickok 2 up.
NCAA-MANZIEL AUTOGRAPHS
ESPN: NCAA investigating Manziel over autographs
BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) - ESPN says the NCAA is investigating whether Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel was paid for signing hundreds of autographs in January.
Citing unidentified sources, ESPN's "Outside the Lines" said the Heisman Trophy winner signed items in exchange for a five-figure fee during his trip to Miami for the BCS championship game.
ESPN said sources told "Outside the Lines" that Manziel signed photographs, footballs, mini football helmets and other items at the request of autograph broker Drew Tieman.
ESPN reported that a source said James Garland, the NCAA's assistant director of enforcement, contacted Tieman and at least one person associated with the signings in June.
The NCAA and Texas A&M declined to comment Sunday night.
